Sweet and salty, it is a flavor that has become popular lately, although not one that applies to people if my love life is any indication. Chocolate covered pretzels have been around for a while, but this is my first time seeing pretzel covered chocolate. If anything, I think the label has it backwards, they should be called Salty and Sweet. The little fudge acts like a little life preserver in a salt lake. Don't get me wrong these are pretty good, I like salt, it's just that I'm used to a touch of salt to bring out the sweetness, where this uses a touch of sweet to tone down the sharpness of the salt. It is a very interesting interaction. If you remove the fudge from your chitinous pretzel shell (maybe with a little crab mallet?), You'll find the fudge to be rich and creamy.
